Welcome
The stakes are high, Mr President.
"Federal Government’s deliberate indifference to tackle the problem which out rightly falls within the purview of financial crime and crime against humanity as it imparts indirectly on the lives of the already battered Nigerian masses also called to question its sincerity and our seriousness as a nation" - Ifeanyi Izeze.
To be a leader is not an easy task but those who present themselves for leadership positions must be able to demonstrate a committment to the ethoes of headship.
Is the current leadership in Nigeria proving its worth to the populace?
Scandals of varying degrees are flying out from left, right and centre, yet the Presidency in Nigeria has not made any decisive move to at least assure Nigerians than there is a WILL to combat the most damaging menace of our decade - "corruption".
There is no point going down the line of rhetorics, as everything Nigeria portrays a complete opposite of expectations, the question is "When will Dr Jonathan deem it fit to start the fight" or his promises to fight corruption had been nothing but mere lip-service statement all along!
Leadership is about proving and delivering on your words.
The poverty level in Nigeria is totally, completely and utterly unacceptable!
Dr Jonathan, what will speak for you are not the amount of wealth you made in office but the impact you made in the life of ordinary Nigerians, to live with hopes and ambitions.
