Computer Aided Drafting
In Engineering drawing, a component
may be represented graphically in various ways. An Orthographic drawing,
for example, requiring a minimum of two views to fully communicate
the size and shape of a component, is used mainly to convey manufacturing
instructions from the designer to the craftsman. On the other hand a well
executed pictorial Drawing, adequately representing all but the most complicated
components using only one view, is used mainly as an aid to visualization
of the shape of a component rather than for communicating detailed instructions
for manufacture. It gives the illusion of a third dimension.
The most exciting enhancement in computer aided drawing, is the ability
to create solid three-dimensional objects. With the increasing processing
power of the pc, the capability to do the complicated calculations required
for Solid Modeling has become prevalent. Thus complex analysis such as
finite element, moment of inertia, volume and mass can easily be computed.
Below are samples of the sort of drawings and services we can carry out.
For clarity sake, the Boarder, Title block, Part-list etc,etc have been
omitted.
